Environment fest at MCM DAV- 36

 

MCM DAV College for Women, Sector 36, organised “Environment Fest”, here today. The festival was inaugurated by the adviser to the UT administrator Pradip Mehra.

Students of various schools, colleges and Panjab University participated in the fest. Hundreds of students participated in the slogan writing competition, expressing their thoughts on conservation of flora and fauna and on the symbol of Chandigarh ‘The Open Hand’. Adviser took round of various stalls showcasing aesthetically prepared exhibits encouraging use of green and clean food, natural herbal cosmetics and sustainable transportation.

MCM students also presented tribal dance. Various competitions, including slogan writing, poster making and collage making were also organised.
